No matter you've just finalized a long distance move
or a local move to Tulsa and Oklahoma City
, you’ve endured the operation of transferring all of your items from your old location, and now you’re facing a large heap of boxes and bags after your move here in Tulsa and Oklahoma City. Well, don’t commence unpacking quite yet! There are a handful of things that you can carry out that’ll give you a more stress free experience post-moving. So prior to removing the first bit of tape from your packages, consider these few things to save some time and bother.
- Take the time to clean and paint before you start unpacking everything. It’s a ton easier to wipe down the baseboards, vacuum the carpets, and get down any wayward cobwebs prior to taking out your pictures, shelves, and other decorations.
- After you’ve got your walls and floors cleaned up and in good condition, move your boxes to their destination. Start unpacking one room at a time to help stay on track. It will also help keep you from feeling overpowered by the volume of work you have to complete.
- After you’ve moved and you’re starting the unpacking process, you’ll begin to observe that you moved some stuff with you that you really don’t need anymore. This happens to everyone regardless of how much clutter they try to cut down on. Even people who have had garage sales prior to their move will regularly end up with a few items they don’t have room for. Go ahead and collect these items up and present them to a local charity.
By taking a bit of time to organize yourself after your local move
or interstate move to Tulsa and Oklahoma City,
you’ll end up with a much calmer and easier time. And as standard knowledge, the lower stress you have during a move the better. There are so many moving parts that you’ll be grateful to have some order. And if you want an incredibly organized residential move
